Thank you for joining us for Music on the Deck for a Cause on Friday, July 28 at the Great Island Boat Yard! It was wonderful to spend time with those of you that could attend and we look forward to seeing you at future QBC events.
We extend our sincerest appreciation to the Jason Spooner Quartet for keeping the crowd dancing with some great tunes, Cousins Maine Lobster for arranging a spectacular selection of lobster rolls, desserts, and other delectable provisions, and Woody Creek Distillers for providing the fine craft spirits.
We are heartened that so many of you were able to experience the educational and scenic boat tours around Snow Island to visit our project sites in the Bay and learn more about who we are as an organization. We especially want to thank the many new friends we met on during the event who generously donated to our cause.
Since our founding in 2013, we have put into action six targeted programs to restore Quahog Bay to its most glorious and abundant ecological state – and our efforts are working. If our mission to clean and protect Quahog Bay inspires you, we hope you will consider a contribution of your own. As you think about your tax deductible gift, we want to emphasize that 100 percent of every donation will directly fund our programs. Please consider making a donation to the QBC today.
Thank you for supporting our efforts! Please enjoy the following photos of the event captured by Will Mayo Photography. For more photos, please visit our Flickr page.
